Online Members (free) can browse our catalog to view holdings in advance of their research visit. Also, Online Members can see digital images of many fascinating items from the collection, such as posters, medals, and uniforms, since those images have been posted to the Library’s catalog record for those items.
Below are descriptions of the various methods available for research at the Pritzker Military Library. Please note some are only available to
Associate Members.
Researchers under age 18 must be accompanied by an Associate of the Library.
Two public computer kiosks are available to guests, with access to the Internet and our catalog system.

EBSCO is a worldwide leader in providing information access and management solutions through print and electronic journal subscription services, research database development and production, online access to databases and thousands of e-journals, a full-featured OpenUrl link resolver, and e-commerce book procurement. The Library currently subscribes to the Military & Government Collection (tm), World History Collection (tm), History Reference Center ®, MasterFILE (tm) Premier, and International Security & Counter-Terrorism Reference Center(tm).
Available to our Associate Members, borrowing privileges give you access not only to materials from our collection, but also to materials from the many other libraries across the continental United States that partner with us through the Inter-Library Loan System.
Specialized staff assistance is available for Associate Members. Whether you need an individually customized tutorial or an in-depth reference consult, our staff stands ready to assist you.
