Director of Collections Management
Kat Latham joined the Pritzker Military Library as a Graduate Student Archival Intern and became the library’s archivist later that year. In 2012 Kat became the library’s Director of Collection Management.
Kat received a bachelor’s degree in public history and anthropology from Western Michigan University and graduated from Loyola University Chicago’s public history master’s degree program. Prior to coming to the Pritzker Military Library she worked as a graduate student archives assistant at the Women and Leadership Archives, interned at the Chicago History Museum as a preliminary cataloging intern for the Hedrich-Blessing Photograph Collection 1970-1979, and volunteered as a docent at the McCormick Freedom Museum.
As the Director of Collection Management, she is responsible for overseeing the library’s preservation and acquisition of archival collections, artifacts, prints, and posters.
