School Visits
In addition to our gallery exhibitions and free, public programs, the Pritzker Military Library has much to offer educators and students. We can arrange a behind-the-scenes tour, or pull materials on a specific subject in advance of your visit for the students' browsing. Students can also complete a lesson using materials from the collection.
Student groups are welcome Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4PM, with prior appointment. Groups are asked to register at least two weeks in advance. To schedule your field trip, contact us at 312-587-0234 or fieldtrips@pritzkermilitarylibrary.net.
We can accommodate groups of up to 60 individuals during a one hour block. If you would like to visit the library with a larger group, we can reserve multiple time blocks for you, schedule permitting.
One adult chaperone is required for every 30 students.
We ask that you plan to spend at least one hour at the Library.
Admission is free.
After registering for a field trip, we can provide you with a list of resources and plan an enriching visit for you and your students.
