Monday, March 8th, 2004 Patrick K. O'Donnell, author of Operatives, Spies and Saboteurs: The Unknown Story of the Men and Women of WWII's OSS spoke at the library. His book relates the story of American men and women of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), forerunner of the CIA, who were involved in covert actions in Europe even before the United States got involved in World War II.
