A Chicago native, Jake Hennes graduated from Northwestern University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in History. Before joining the library, Jake worked in a variety of fields: as a musician in a band, a housing coordinator at Northwestern University, and for several years as a manager in online advertising. However, his education in history, coupled with his personal interest in military history, made an opportunity to work at the Pritzker Military Library too good to pass up.
