Reference Coordinator
Paul Grasmehr joined the Pritzker Military Library in October 2010. His responsibilities include maintaining circulation records, processing and tracking Interlibrary loans, processing recently catalogued Library materials, and providing research assistance to Library staff and visitors. He also supervises interns and volunteers assigned to the department. Paul has a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of West Alabama with a Secondary Education Social Science Comprehensive certification in history, government, economics, psychology, sociology, and geography.
Paul earned his commission through Marion Military Institute’s Army ROTC program. He served in platoon leader, company command, and battalion staff officer assignments in corps combat engineer battalions and corps combat heavy engineer battalions. Following his military career, Paul worked as an administrative assistant and executive assistant in Columbus, Ohio before relocating to Chicago in the summer of 2010. Before joining the staff, Paul served as a volunteer at the Pritzker Military Library.
