Oral History Coordinator
Thomas Webb holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s in Composition and Rhetoric from the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS). His focus in Composition and Rhetoric allowed him to work with such progressive writing theories as critical pedagogy and ecocomposition. Before coming to the Pritzker Military Library, Thomas spent three years working as a Library Assistant at Brookens Library, located on the UIS campus.
In 2011, Thom was appointed Oral History Coordinator and has been working on getting the program operating smoothly. He is in charge of gathering the biographical data of participants of the oral history program, as well as connecting these individuals with members of the volunteer staff for scheduled interviews.
